Tamsin Kantor, Internal Affairs Officer 2016-­2017

Student Exec Liason for: HEAL, HEART, Health Leads, SHOUT

Tamsin is responsible for coordinating content for all Community Impact events and trainings. This includes researching and developing topics for professional and program development events, such as monthly Town Halls. She is also the lead for CI communication efforts with coordinators and volunteers, including managing the CI weekly newsletter detailing pertinent deadlines and noteworthy news and events.

Margaret Kaye, Operations Officer 2016-2017

Student Exec Liason for: One-to-One Tutoring, After-hours Tutoring, America Reads, Project Tutors

Margaret is a sophomore at Barnard College. She is responsible for managing Student Executive goals and the CI infrastructure. She creates and manages the Student Executive framework, in order to help Executives remain on track with goals. She also manages the CI infrastructure with the goal of improving CI’s overall efficiency, outcomes, and output. Margaret is a sophomore at Barnard College.

Student Exec Liason for: Community Lunch, Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, Project for the Homeless

Renata is a junior at Barnard College majoring in Neuroscience & Behavior is involved in CI’s Project Tutors. She is responsible for building and maintaining intergoverning board relationships, serving as a liaison between Community Impact and the Columbia University community, and working closely with the University Chaplain to support each program's efforts on campus.

Miranda Kantor, Marketing Officer 2016-2017

Student Exec Liason for: ARO, Peace by PEACE, TLC, Brainiacs

Miranda is responsible for recruitment of potential volunteers and for maintaining CI’s public image. She provides support and advice to groups in process of creating materials, social media pages, and websites. She orchestrates social media initiatives, such as website development, Facebook and Instagram activity, and serves as the liaison to campus publications.

Julia Leff, Community Engagement Officer 2016-2017

Student Exec Liason for: JEEP (ESOL, TASC, Spanish TASC, College Road, Job Road)

Julia oversees the various relationships external to the Community Impact coordinator and volunteer base. This includes fostering participant and client involvement in CI’s structure and working directly with the CI Alumni Organization (CIAO). She initiates partnerships with community members and organizations with the goal of maintaining a truly mutually beneficial relationship with our community.

Yiming is responsible for treasury-­related initiatives for all health, environment, emergency services, and leadership programs including training all coordinators in proper treasury procedures, re-­evaluating these procedures, maintaining budget records for all groups, allocating group funding, and requesting funding from Funding @ Columbia University (F@CU).
