This year's Youth Halloween Event was hosted by Community Impact and the Manhattanville Community Center located in Manhattanville public housing. 74 Columbia affiliated volunteers from Columbia College, General Studies, School of Social Work, SIPA, Teacher’s College, SEAS, and City College of NY (CCNY) helped produce the event.

This year’s attendance increased from 150 to over 550 attendees. Kids participated in pumpkin carving, face painting, cupcake decorating, and even made fake spiders, slime, and blood! The kids were then scared out of their shoes in the Haunted House.

Describing this year’s Halloween party, one of our participants said, "This year's Halloween party was the best so far. So much to do and the Haunted House was really scary!” The festivities concluded with the kids eating pizza and popcorn, and a clown serving cotton candy.
