Forty five (45) volunteer members of Project for the Homeless supervised 2 homeless shelters that provided sleeping accommodations to 45 residents. Twenty Habitat for Humanity volunteers partnered with local groups to restore houses damaged in Hurricane Sandy. A fourth program, Advocacy Coalition, advocates for residents in need of social services including housing, employment and health insurance and provides referrals to appropriate agencies.
